Can you believe it? 8 months already! Where's the cake?

The best way to celebrate is playing with dad!

Oh, come on mom! Can't we play just a little longer?

If I smile really pretty and show you my teeth, will that buy me a few more minutes?

But I'm not tired! I promise!

This juice is so good, but I'm just too sleepy! Don't. Fall. Asleep.

I give up. Sleep fairy-1. Julian-0.

Hi! Check out my tongue!

I have got this pulling-up thing down! Watch out mom and dad- walking won't be far behind!

In the mean time, they try to keep me out of trouble by giving me toys.

If you look really closely, you can see my first tooth is sprouting!

I am so proud of myself right now. I don't know why. But I am.

Mom thinks she can get me to stop climbing on the furniture. I obviously disagree.

What can be better? I am surrounded by toys and mom is pointing a camera. Watch me turn on the charm!

Cousin Barry and I at the Bergschneiders. Wow, he is soooo much bigger than I am! I am so grateful that men like him are defending my home. I give a big rattle salute to our armed forces!

Grandma Ott and I went to see the Bergschneiders in Clinton. I saw my first snow!

Dad and I hanging out at home. He thought it would be cute if I wore my bib as a hat. I tried to explain that I'm cute no matter what!

Liberty Bowl game day. Go Hogs!

Great-Uncle Harold helps me show off my New Year's tiara. Thanks Great-Aunt Floy!

While everyone else was eating black-eyed peas and cornbread, Grandpa was giving me a taste of Cool Whip. It took me a little while to warm up to the idea...

Grandpa, mom, and I after New Year's dinner.

Christmas Eve at the Ott's

Opening presents Christmas morning. Dad stayed close to make sure I didn't eat any of the wrapping...

Christmas at the Lowery's

Mom keeps taking away all of the good toys! Grrrr!

Hanging out on the couch with dad

Playing in my room

Here kitty, kitty. Let me grab a fist full of fur!

Mom and dad, get ready. I'm almost mobile!
For my first Thanksgiving dinner, I went to Great Aunt Floy and Great Uncle Harold’s house. Of course, I didn’t get to enjoy much in the way of dinner since I still don’t have any teeth, but seeing everyone was alot of fun. The thing I am most thankful for is the wonderful group of friends and family that take such good care of me. In particular, I am grateful for Grandma and Grandpa Ott that let me stay with them while mom and dad are at work. They never seem to get tired of playing with me!

Great Aunt Floy and cousin Rachel got me this snazzy turkey bib to commemorate my first Thanksgiving.

Unfortunately, all they gave me to chew on was this toy. They better give me some turkey next year, or I'm going to boycott!

Cousin Harold gives infant-holding a try. I promise he got better. I eventually even smiled at him!
